LAL Dental ยท Midtown East, NYC
Our Services
Implants and reconstruction planned by board-certified prosthodontist Dr. Kunal Lal, with everyday care from Dr. Lal and general dentist Dr. Allison Wisniewski
Specialist treatment, and the everyday kind
LAL Dental is a Prosthodontic practice, which means its focus is the replacement and reconstruction of teeth: single implants, full arches and failing bites. Prosthodontics is a recognized dental specialty requiring three years of training beyond dental school. Read how a prosthodontist differs from a general dentist.
The practice also provides the routine care that keeps reconstruction working, because crowns, bridges and implants fail through gum disease and decay at their margins. Hygiene visits and examinations are part of the treatment rather than separate from it.
Implant Dentistry
Full-Arch Implant Reconstruction
A fixed, permanent set of teeth anchored to dental implants, for patients who have lost or are losing all the teeth in a jaw. Planned from the first visit by Dr. Kunal Lal, a board-certified prosthodontist, with implant positions designed around the finished teeth.
Learn moreSingle-Tooth Dental Implants
Replace one missing tooth with an implant and an all-ceramic crown, without touching the healthy teeth on either side.
Learn moreMultiple-Tooth Implant Bridges
A fixed bridge anchored to dental implants replaces several missing teeth in a row, with stability a removable partial denture cannot offer.
Learn moreComputer-Guided Implant Surgery
Implant positions planned in software against the finished restoration, then placed through a surgical guide. Often flapless, with immediate loading where the case allows.
Learn moreImplant-Supported Dentures
An overdenture is anchored to implants, it snaps in place and stays put. A middle option between a conventional denture and a fixed full-arch reconstruction.
Learn moreRestorative Dentistry
Full-Mouth Reconstruction
Rebuilding a worn, damaged or failing bite as one coordinated plan rather than a series of separate repairs.
Learn moreSolea Laser Gum Procedures
Laser treatment of the gums for crown lengthening, frenectomy and gingivectomy, usually with less bleeding than a blade.
Learn moreTooth-Colored Fillings
Composite fillings and bonding that repair decay and chips in a shade matched to the tooth, so the repair is not the first thing anyone sees.
Learn moreInlays and Onlays
Laboratory-made or milled restorations that rebuild a tooth too damaged for a filling but sound enough to keep, without reducing it for a full crown.
Learn moreTooth Extractions
Removing a tooth when it cannot be saved, planned around what replaces it, with nitrous oxide available for comfort.
Learn moreProsthodontics

Learn moreCosmetic Dentistry
Porcelain Veneers
Thin ceramic facings bonded to the front of the teeth to correct shape, color, spacing and wear, designed around your face rather than a template.
Learn moreProfessional Teeth Whitening
In-office whitening that lifts built-up staining in a single appointment, with an honest assessment of what will and will not respond.
Learn moreInvisalign Clear Aligners
Clear removable aligners that straighten teeth without brackets or wires, from minor corrections to a full smile makeover.
